Can art still shock?

When Manet presented his Olympia the cultural world looked in awe. A lot has changed since Olympia and The origin of the world rocked the art world. But not only art lost its ability to shock. Apollinaire and Joyce look like rookies compared to the stuff that Houellebecq writes. In his article the British artist Grayson Perry explores the borders of art and literature.
